The Halloween party went surprisingly well. I was Robert Smith and, as such, got into character by drinking rather too much wine… among other things. I remember most of it, although there are conversations I had with people who I don’t remember being there.
We had blue and green lights and a smoke machine which Evan totally abused. Brandi and Alex brought a “haunted hallway” through which guests had to pass before being blasted with smoke by Evan. Rebecca brought cookies with looked like amputated fingers. A good number of people showed up. I used to throw holiday parties all the time but hadn’t done it for a while so feared I might not do so well. Well, I did drink too much and passed out in bed where guests who arrived later tried to wake me without results.
